# Connect your AI assistant to send letters, faxes, postcards and *checks*

Take a finished document, or the details of a check, from a conversation to a sending order. Find the workflow for your assistant, prepare the details, and keep the final say.

Find your assistant

Example request

> “Mail this letter to the school. Show me the final document and total before I pay.”

A request starts preparation. It does not authorize a send.

## What happens after “send this”

The same five stages, whichever assistant you use.

1. ### Request
Say what you want to send and where it needs to go.
   You + your assistant
2. ### Document, item or check
Transfer the finished file, choose an available product or draft a check.
   Your assistant
3. ### Quote
See the exact document, item or check, the recipient, and the total.
   Postedly
4. ### Approval
Review the details, sign a check if there is one, and authorize the payment and send.
   You
5. ### Status
Check the existing order for payment and sending updates.
   Postedly + your assistant

New: paper checks

## Your assistant can now prepare a check, too.

Ask it to pay a person or business by check. It picks your ready checking account, fills in the payee, US address, amount and memo, and gives you a private link. You review the full proof, sign with your passkey and pay the service fee. The check amount stays in your account until it’s deposited.

### Your assistant can

- See which accounts are ready, by their last four digits
- Draft the check and reserve its number
- Hand you the review link and follow the order

### Only you can

- Connect and verify a bank account
- See the full proof and sign it
- Pay the fee and send it

Account numbers, passkeys and signatures never pass through the chat.

## A connection is the beginning.

The assistant must be able to access your file or offer a private upload link. Postedly checks current service availability and prepares a quote tied to the exact document or item, recipient, and price. For a check, the account owner first connects their own checking account on Postedly, and signs each check themselves.

You review the final proof and total before payment. Afterward, keep the same order reference to check progress; a timeout is a reason to check, not to send again.
