# Let your agent prepare the letter’s next step.

An agent can help an employee finish a welcome letter or a customer prepare a request. Postedly adds the physical handoff: fax or mail, with the recipient, final document and price ready for review.

## Documented setup · untested

Not yet tested

Microsoft documents Streamable MCP connections with OAuth dynamic discovery. These steps follow that setup; a complete Postedly flow in Copilot Studio has not yet been verified.

## Use Microsoft Copilot Studio with Postedly

1. ### Add the MCP tool
   Open the agent’s Tools page, choose Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol, and enter Postedly’s name, description and server URL.
   ```
https://postedly.com/mcp/send
```
2. ### Choose OAuth dynamic discovery
   Select OAuth 2.0 and Dynamic discovery. Create the server connection, complete Postedly’s browser consent, and add it to the agent.
3. ### Test one document and quote
   Confirm the connected sender, discover available tools and prepare one harmless document quote. Check your organization’s connector and data policies before making it available to users.

## Give it a specific request

### Prepare a welcome letter for one customer

Use the approved PDF from your business workflow and keep its recipient tied to the quote.

Example request

> Prepare a Postedly mailing quote for this customer’s approved welcome-letter PDF. Transfer the file, show the final proof and total, and let me approve before payment.

## Transfer your file

The tool needs the actual PDF bytes, not merely a SharePoint link or record attachment name. A permitted backend or flow can transfer them through a private multipart handoff; an MCP runtime with byte access can use the upload tool. Offer browser upload when the agent cannot access the file.

- For a letter or fax, prepare a valid, unencrypted PDF no larger than 10 MiB (10,485,760 bytes). Review the saved PDF after exporting it from the draft.
- For mail, have the recipient’s full US postal address and your US sender address ready. For fax, confirm the receiving US fax number and your US billing address. Check the selected service’s page and layout limits before quoting.
- Review the final proof returned with the quote, including any added cover or postal layout. An upload preview alone does not establish that the final document is ready to send.

## Mail a check

Microsoft Copilot Studio can prepare a paper check drawn on your own verified US checking account. The assistant never sees your account numbers and can’t sign or pay; those steps stay with you.

1. ### Set up checks once, yourself
   Open Postedly’s check page in your browser, verify your email and connect your checking account. You’ll verify it with Plaid, confirm you can sign for it, set a bank passkey and save your signature.
   [Set up checks](https://postedly.com/checks)
2. ### Ask Microsoft Copilot Studio for the check
   Give the payee’s exact name and US mailing address, the amount and an optional memo. Using Postedly’s check tools, Microsoft Copilot Studio reads your ready accounts and drafts the check, which reserves its number and prepares a service-fee quote. Nothing is signed, charged or sent.
3. ### Review, sign and pay
   Open the private review link it gives you. Check the full proof, confirm with your passkey, sign and pay the service fee. The check amount is paid from your account only when the payee deposits it.
4. ### Follow the order
   Microsoft Copilot Studio can read the order to see when the check is printed and mailed. Postedly can’t see when it clears; your bank shows that.

Example request

> Mail a $250 check to Riverside Little League, 400 Park Rd, Dayton, OH 45402, from my checking account. Memo: Spring registration. Send me the link to review and sign it.

If Microsoft Copilot Studio doesn’t show Postedly’s check tools, reconnect Postedly or refresh its tools, or write the check yourself on Postedly.

## Your approval comes before the send

Present the final document, recipient and total before returning the browser approval link. Postedly then hands payment to hosted Stripe Checkout. Publishing an agent or granting tool access does not authorize a customer order.

## Follow the existing order

Retain the returned order reference with the business record and check it for payment and fulfillment progress. Resolve uncertain results before starting another send.

## Send directly on Postedly

You can use the finished document without connecting an assistant. Download the approved PDF, open Postedly, choose an available service and upload the file. Enter the destination and sender details, then review the final proof and full price before payment. You do not need your own printer or envelopes to mail a PDF through Postedly.

## Before you start

- This guide is for custom agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio. It does not claim a Microsoft marketplace listing or native Copilot payment. Power Platform policies, user identity and file access affect the integration. Uploads are limited to 10 MiB, with service-specific format and layout requirements.
