# Draft with Hark. Mail the finished letter with Postedly.

Use Hark to write the note and gather the details you need. Its Handoff browser can look up Postedly’s public sending instructions. When your draft is ready, take the finished file and confirmed addresses to Postedly to review and mail it.

## Draft and browser handoff

Hark documents drafting and browser use through Handoff. This guide uses Hark for preparation and Postedly’s website for the actual send.

## Use Hark with Postedly

1. ### Draft and confirm the details in Hark
Ask Hark for the exact letter text or a checklist for an existing PDF. Confirm facts and addresses against your records, then save the approved document as a PDF.
2. ### Open the sending form yourself
Choose the service, upload the finished PDF and enter the confirmed destination. You can ask Hark to find public sending instructions while you work in your own browser.
   [Open Postedly’s sending form](https://postedly.com/send)
3. ### Check the proof and approve the order
Inspect the final pages, address or fax number, and total. Complete email verification if asked, approve the exact order, and pay through hosted Stripe Checkout.

## Give it a specific request

### Draft a letter to your property manager

Give Hark the facts to include, then confirm the mailing address and your return address.

Example request

> Draft a one-page letter to my property manager using the details below. Flag any facts or address details I still need to confirm. Pull up Postedly’s public letter instructions and give me https://postedly.com/send?service=letter so I can upload and review the finished PDF myself.

### Get a fax checklist for an existing form

Keep the completed form in your own files and use Hark to organize the details you’ll enter.

Example request

> Find Postedly’s public fax instructions and make a short checklist for faxing a PDF I already have. Include the receiving US fax number and sender details I should verify. Give me https://postedly.com/send?service=fax so I can upload the actual file, check the cover and approve the price myself.

## Transfer your file

Save the approved text as a PDF in a document editor or use the finished file you already have. Upload that file from your own device on Postedly. A Hark chat, copied text or link to a draft does not transfer the PDF.

- For a letter or fax, prepare a valid, unencrypted PDF no larger than 10 MiB (10,485,760 bytes). Review the saved PDF after exporting it from the draft.
- For mail, have the recipient’s full US postal address and your US sender address ready. For fax, confirm the receiving US fax number and your US billing address. Check the selected service’s page and layout limits before quoting.
- Review the final proof returned with the quote, including any added cover or postal layout. An upload preview alone does not establish that the final document is ready to send.

## Mail a check

Ask Hark to help gather the payee’s name, US mailing address, amount and memo. Open Postedly’s check page in your own browser to set up your account, write the check, sign and pay.

## Your approval comes before the send

Make the sending decision in Postedly after checking the proof, destination and total. Use your verified email for the receipt and order history, then approve and pay in the browser.

## Follow the existing order

Keep the order reference from Postedly and use its tracking page to check the existing send. Verify the email used for the receipt if prompted. Check the recorded payment and fulfillment states before starting a replacement.

## Send directly on Postedly

You can use the finished document without connecting an assistant. Download the approved PDF, open Postedly, choose an available service and upload the file. Enter the destination and sender details, then review the final proof and full price before payment. You do not need your own printer or envelopes to mail a PDF through Postedly.
