Use Cursor with Postedly
Add the MCP configuration
Add this server to .cursor/mcp.json for the project, or merge it into your existing global MCP configuration.
{ "mcpServers": { "postedly": { "url": "https://postedly.com/mcp/send" } } }Authenticate the connection
Reload Cursor if needed and follow its server-authentication prompt. Complete Postedly’s email verification and OAuth consent.
Give Agent a concrete file
Select the finished artifact and ask for a service and recipient-specific quote. Check that Postedly’s tools are available before proceeding.
Give it a specific request
Make one print of the finished design
Check the available product dimensions against the actual export before ordering.
Check Postedly’s available print products for the finished design in this project. Verify its dimensions, upload the actual export, and prepare one quote. Wait for my approval before checkout.
Transfer your file
Use the source file’s bytes, not a screenshot of the editor or a local path passed as a URL. Agent can use the direct MCP upload tool or a private multipart handoff. If its runtime cannot read the artifact, use Postedly’s browser upload fallback.
- For a letter or fax, prepare a valid, unencrypted PDF no larger than 10 MiB (10,485,760 bytes). Review the saved PDF after exporting it from the draft.
- For mail, have the recipient’s full US postal address and your US sender address ready. For fax, confirm the receiving US fax number and your US billing address. Check the selected service’s page and layout limits before quoting.
- Review the final proof returned with the quote, including any added cover or postal layout. An upload preview alone does not establish that the final document is ready to send.
Your approval comes before the send
The quote is tied to the exact file, product and recipient. You review the final proof and total on Postedly before hosted Stripe Checkout. No native Cursor payment integration is claimed.
Cancellation and refund policyFollow the existing order
Use the same order reference to check payment and production progress. Do not create a second print because the first status request timed out.
Check an order on PostedlySend directly on Postedly
You can use the finished document without connecting an assistant. Download the approved PDF, open Postedly, choose an available service and upload the file. Enter the destination and sender details, then review the final proof and full price before payment. You do not need your own printer or envelopes to mail a PDF through Postedly.
Before you start
- These steps cover Cursor’s documented MCP configuration, not every cloud-agent environment. Current print products accept PDF or JPEG; PDF dimensions must match the chosen print size. Files are limited to 10 MiB, and the current service catalog determines availability.
