How to prepare a mailed letter or fax from Muse

A finished letter should not leave you looking for a printer, an envelope or a fax machine. Connect Muse to Postedly and take the document from your conversation to a sending quote, with the final decision still yours.

Tested through final-proof review

Last tested

A private Muse connection has created and transferred a PDF, received a fax quote, refreshed its OAuth connection and opened the final proof. Sending approval, payment and fulfillment were not attempted. The directory submission is awaiting review.

Client and environment
Muse custom connection to Postedly production; separate browser proof review.
Stages completed
OAuth and refresh; runtime PDF transfer with matching checksum; unpaid fax quote; private review link; both final PDF pages visually checked. Zero orders created.
Your remaining steps
For your own send, check a fresh quote, inspect the final proof and recipient, approve the order and complete hosted Stripe Checkout. Keep the resulting order reference.
Still unverified
Sending approval, customer payment, fulfillment, disconnect, public directory approval and native in-chat payment.

Use Muse with Postedly

  1. Ask Muse to connect

Ask for a custom Postedly connection using this remote MCP endpoint.

    https://postedly.com/mcp/send
  2. Approve your connection

Verify your sender email on Postedly and review orders:read, quotes:write and checkout:write. This connects your account; it does not approve an order.

  3. Finish and transfer the letter

Approve the wording, export it as a PDF, and give Muse the recipient and sender addresses for mail, or the receiving US fax number for fax. It must transfer the saved PDF, not just the draft text.

  4. Prepare one quote

Ask Muse to check current availability and quote the exact document and destination. Open the private review link and inspect every final page before deciding to pay.

What the Muse test actually completed

On September 20, 2026 (UTC), Muse created a one-page synthetic PDF in its runtime and transferred the exact file. Postedly returned a fax quote with a two-page final PDF, including its cover. The cover and original page rendered in browser review with the intended recipient and total. Approval remained unchecked and no order was created. This verifies the fax preparation path; a mailed-letter journey and payment-to-delivery journey have not been completed in Muse.

Give it a specific request

Send the school the letter you just finished

Keep the wording you approved and let Muse prepare the fax details.

Example request
Use Postedly to prepare a fax of this finished letter to the school. Show me the final PDF, recipient and total before I pay.

Put a proper letter in the mail

Turn a thoughtful draft into something a person can open.

Example request
Export this approved thank-you letter as a PDF. Use Postedly to check available mailing options and prepare a quote for the recipient and sender addresses below. Transfer the actual PDF, then show me the final proof and total. Do not pay or send until I approve.

Transfer your file

Muse can transfer file bytes directly through Postedly’s upload tool; this path has been verified with a PDF created inside Muse. If the runtime cannot access your file, it can provide a private browser upload link instead.

  • For a letter or fax, prepare a valid, unencrypted PDF no larger than 10 MiB (10,485,760 bytes). Review the saved PDF after exporting it from the draft.
  • For mail, have the recipient’s full US postal address and your US sender address ready. For fax, confirm the receiving US fax number and your US billing address. Check the selected service’s page and layout limits before quoting.
  • Review the final proof returned with the quote, including any added cover or postal layout. An upload preview alone does not establish that the final document is ready to send.

When a step does not work

Muse can discuss the letter but cannot upload it
Ask it to export the approved draft as a PDF and transfer that saved file. If the runtime cannot read it, download the PDF and use the private browser upload link or send directly on Postedly.
The connection asks you to sign in again
Muse has completed a normal OAuth refresh in a recorded test. If your connection still reports an expired session, reconnect through its normal sign-in flow and check the existing order before restarting a send.
The quote or review link has expired
Request a fresh quote for the same finished document and recipient. Review its new total and final proof; the earlier quote is not a current price or approval.

Your approval comes before the send

Review the final proof, recipient and total. The checkout link opens Postedly’s approval page, then hosted Stripe Checkout. A request to draft, upload or quote does not pay or send.

Cancellation and refund policy

Follow the existing order

Ask Muse to check the existing Postedly order after checkout. Payment and fulfillment have separate states; delivery is reported only when the provider supplies that evidence.

Check an order on Postedly

Send directly on Postedly

You can use the finished document without connecting an assistant. Download the approved PDF, open Postedly, choose an available service and upload the file. Enter the destination and sender details, then review the final proof and full price before payment. You do not need your own printer or envelopes to mail a PDF through Postedly.

Before you start

  • Check current service availability before preparing an order. Uploads are limited to 10 MiB and service-specific formats. The verified Muse run stopped at browser proof review, before sending approval or payment. Native in-chat payment and directory approval are not claimed.
