The MCP connector and API
Claude, ChatGPT, Muse, Codex, Cursor and other clients that support remote MCP can connect to Postedly with OAuth, transfer the actual file and prepare a quote. The assistant does the preparation; you still approve the proof, recipient and total on a private review page before Stripe Checkout.
What makes Postedly different
A finished order, not a mailing API to build on
Lob and PostGrid are direct mailing APIs; their own developer docs start with creating an account and API keys, which suits teams building mail into their software. Postedly is the finished order: upload one document, review one proof and pay once, with no separate provider account. Postedly itself mails letters, certified mail and postcards through PostGrid.
Pay per send, no subscription
Every service has a fixed published price, from $2.99 for a fax to $14.99 for certified mail, before tax. There is no plan, no monthly minimum and no contract, and your quote shows the exact total before you pay.
Your assistant can prepare a send but cannot pay for one
Connecting an assistant is not blanket approval. Each quote is tied to one document or item, one recipient and one price, and a person confirms it on a private review page before hosted Stripe Checkout. A changed document, address or price needs a new quote and a new approval.
Faxes are charged after they go through
For fax, Postedly authorizes your card before sending and captures the payment only after the provider confirms the pages transmitted. If the fax definitively fails, the authorization is cancelled or a captured charge is refunded.
Five ways to send, one review flow
Fax, letters, certified mail, postcards and handwritten cards all use the same quote, review and tracking steps, on the website or through the same MCP connector. Postedly is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.postedly/send, and its setup guides say which steps were actually tested in each assistant.
Who uses Postedly
- People who draft letters with ChatGPT, Claude, Muse or another AI assistant and need the finished letter printed and mailed to a US address
- Individuals and small offices that fax a few documents a month to insurers, schools, landlords or agencies and do not want a fax line or subscription

Postedly handles one recipient per order. Bulk campaigns and international mail are outside what Postedly handles today.
The team behind Postedly
Postedly is built and run by John Arndt, founder of Soxoa LLC, the small Sacramento, California software company he started in 2024. John builds and operates a portfolio of focused web products himself, working with AI tools every day.
Postedly came out of that daily work: an assistant could write a letter in seconds, but the last step, printing it, finding a stamp or locating a fax machine, still sat on the desk. John started Postedly in 2026 to close that gap while keeping a person in charge of every send.
It is a solo-founder business. John writes the software with AI coding tools and handles support himself. Printing and mailing are fulfilled by PostGrid, faxes by Telnyx and handwritten cards by Handwrytten; Stripe processes payments and Cloudflare hosts the service.
How Postedly works
Questions go to john@soxoa.com, and John answers them himself. Expect a reply within one business day; include your order reference if you have one, and keep document contents and payment details out of email.
There is no account manager or onboarding call to book. Most sends take a few minutes to set up, faxes transmit once payment is authorized, and printed mail takes several business days of printing and postal transit. Your quote shows the estimate; it is not a guaranteed arrival date.

Upload a finished PDF (up to 10 MiB), or pick a handwritten card and write your message. Enter US sender and recipient details.
Review the exact quote
You see the final proof or card details, the recipient, the estimated timing and the total including tax. Nothing is charged at this step.
Approve and pay
Confirm the order and pay through hosted Stripe Checkout. Assistants hand you a private review link for this step.
Track it
Follow payment and sending status separately on the order page. A fax records its transmission; mail shows postal progress and an estimated delivery.

Do I need a subscription or an account plan?
No. You pay for each send on its own, and there is no monthly fee or contract. A connected assistant reuses your verified email so you do not have to set anything up twice.
Can my AI assistant send something without my approval?
No. An assistant can transfer your file and prepare a quote, but you approve the exact proof, recipient and total on a private review page before Stripe Checkout. Uploading or quoting never pays for or sends an order.
What happens if a fax does not go through?
Your card is authorized before sending and charged only after the provider confirms the pages transmitted. If the fax definitively fails, the authorization is cancelled or any captured charge is refunded.
Can I send outside the United States?
Not yet. Every service currently delivers only to US recipients, and faxes go to supported US numbers. Letters, certified mail and postcards are limited to addresses in the 50 states and Washington, DC.
How long do you keep my documents?
Uploaded files are kept while an order needs them and for up to 30 days after it reaches a final state; unused uploads expire sooner. The privacy policy explains the exceptions, such as an open support issue.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Email john@soxoa.com with your order reference, and John Arndt, the founder, will reply within one business day. Check the order page first, and do not place a second order just because the first is still awaiting confirmation.
