When a task in Sauna calls for a printed letter or a fax, start with the finished PDF. Add Postedly as a custom connection and ask Sauna for a quote and private review link. You check the proof, destination and price before paying.

Use Sauna with Postedly

  1. Add Postedly in the Sauna web app

    Open your profile avatar, then Settings → Connections → Add a Connection → Add MCP or API → MCP Server. Name it Postedly and enter the server URL below.

  2. Connect through the browser

    Leave the advanced OAuth client ID and secret blank for automatic registration. Choose Connect and follow the Postedly sign-in, email verification and consent steps in your browser. Return to Sauna and confirm it can list Postedly’s available services.

  3. Ask for a quote and private review link

    Start in the web app with the finished PDF and destination. If you later ask from iMessage, open any connector link in your browser to complete sign-in. Confirm the exact PDF reached Postedly before relying on the quote.

  4. Review and approve in Postedly

    Open the private review link yourself. Inspect each page, including any cover, and confirm the recipient and total. Use your verified email for the receipt and order history, then approve and continue to hosted Stripe Checkout.

Start with the completed PDF and confirm the receiving US fax number.

Transfer your file

Sauna needs access to the actual saved PDF to upload it through the connector. If it cannot read the file, ask for a private browser upload link through the connected tools. If the connection or upload is unavailable, download the finished PDF and upload it directly on Postedly’s send page.

  • For a letter or fax, prepare a valid, unencrypted PDF no larger than 10 MiB (10,485,760 bytes). Review the saved PDF after exporting it from the draft.
  • For mail, have the recipient’s full US postal address and your US sender address ready. For fax, confirm the receiving US fax number and your US billing address. Check the selected service’s page and layout limits before quoting.
  • Review the final proof returned with the quote, including any added cover or postal layout. An upload preview alone does not establish that the final document is ready to send.

Ask Sauna to help gather the payee’s name, US mailing address, amount and memo. Open Postedly’s check page in your own browser to set up your account, write the check, sign and pay.

Your approval comes before the send

Use Postedly’s browser review to approve the exact proof, recipient, service and total. Verify the email for your receipt and order history if asked. Connecting Sauna lets it prepare the quote. You approve and pay through hosted Stripe Checkout.

Keep your Postedly order reference after checkout. Use Postedly order tracking with the receipt email, or ask the connected Sauna assistant to look up that existing order when it has access. Check the recorded payment and fulfillment states separately.

You can use the finished document without connecting an assistant. Download the approved PDF, open Postedly, choose an available service and upload the file. Enter the destination and sender details, then review the final proof and full price before payment. You do not need your own printer or envelopes to mail a PDF through Postedly.
